No filter needed. Perennial layers. I typically try to avoid yellow and pink flowering simultaneously. The perennial sunflower in the background is a volunteer. I used to weed it out but it’s a self seeder and a survivor. After multiple attempts to edit it out, I eventually gave up. Delphinium New Millenium Mini Stars against a beautiful summer sky. This is in my trial garden for future consideration. A newer, shorter variety that supposedly doesn’t need staking. It did make it through a Connecticut winter but it flops like the rest. A nice plant if you don’t mind staking but we prefer iron clad plants that don’t need a lot of fussing. Landscape tip. Weed fabric only works if you don’t cover it with an organic mater. If you’ve had to weed a garden full of weeds where weed fabric is present, good luck. Foliage above the weed fabric and the root system below makes for a difficult situation.
