We just finished a landscape installation for a historic house in Washington, CT. Although this is the side of the house, it is right off the driveway and it tends to be the main entrance for the homeowners and their guests. Because of this, the owners wanted a formal garden appropriate for this historic house. We designed this Boxwood parterre to welcome guests. As it matures, the plan is to fill the spaces that the Boxwood parterre creates with annuals for seasonal color.
