Our newest landscape project we are working on in Litchfield County. For this project, we teamed up with the architect/owner to create a concept to develop his pool area. The project entails a lot of trenching, a patio for poolside entertaining, an RV pad that will support the restored Airstream trailer which will be used as a guest house/pool house, a new pool fencing and tree removal. Also, about 50 yards of soil/compost will be brought in to raise the grade around the pool as well as for building up the gardens beds. Besides creating some interest, raising the beds up above the surrounding turf will create some separation and privacy between the pool and driveway. A single variety of ornamental grass will be the only plant used throughout the landscape. Talk about mass planting! Here are some in progress pictures.
