Native Landscape Design for a Washington, CT Property.

Here is a landscape design for one of the projects we will be working on this summer in Washington, CT. The site is waterfront so the landscape design consists predominately of native plants.  A rain garden is also planned to slow any runoff before it reaches the lake.

  1. I have been enjoying your comments over the past few months, since finding houz.

I grew up in West Hartford on my father’s 400 acre nursery, which folded under my brother’s tutelage, reduced to basically a garden center, while also working as a commercial pilot.

Where are you located, in Bridgewater? Are you active in the Connecticut Botanical Society? – I guess that is your Native Plant Society.

I am currently designing a garden for a ninth floor balcony in Bangkok – ouch! Texas climate, I guess. Got to her on houz “need help on my balcony” No money but a lot of fun designing for limited weight and maximum color.

I am impressed by your computer drawings – I am still with the pen and pencil – limited brain power, but we still have the non-digital USPO.
