For late summer color, there aren’t many plants that can create such a bold statement as a Hydrangea paniculata. Typically Hydrangea paniculata’s need some space due to their large stature but there are some new dwarf varieties that are easy to fall in love with. This Hydrangea is one of them. Hydrangea ‘Little Lime’ is easy to control in regards to height and has a white flower that matures to pink in late summer. It flowers for a long time and looks good with many different plants. Best of all, it flowers on new wood so winter is not a problem in our cold Litchfield County winters.
