I’m always trialing new plants. I planted Lychnis ‘Orange Gnome’ this spring because it was a plant I didn’t have experience with. What I know so far is it appears to be pretty drought tolerant. It made it through this extra hot spring/early summer as a newly planted plant without a lot of attention or supplemental water. It has pretty orange flowers that seem to last for many weeks. I’d say 6 weeks. The one thing I’m curious about is if it will hop around as its siblings do. It has a short statue after a couple of months, standing in flower at about 8″. He it is mixed with Dracocephalum ruyschianum ‘Blue Dragon’.
